‘Singers’ occupied our shop premises for 42 years - John Morrissey, ran this business successfully for all these years and then retired. People were then travelling all the way to Carlow and Waterford to source wool, zips, and all their craft needs. Catherine and Helena realised there was a need to reopen this type of business in the central Kilkenny area, but under their new name of 'Deevy's Sewing Essentials'.
Catherine and Helena have many combined year’s experience and background in the sewing/curtain and craft field. Pop in and view their colourful range of wools, zips, buttons and practically everything to satisfy your sewing and craft needs.
