Bluebird Care has teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Association in a novel fundraising effort based on the outcome of next Sundays All Ireland Hurling Final. Both the Kilkenny and Tipperary offices of Bluebird Care will donate €10 for every point (including goals ) scored in the decider next week with the Alzheimer’s Association benefiting accordingly.
“The Alzheimer’s Association is a worthy beneficiary of these funds so lets hope there are lots of goals scored (especially by Kilkenny! )”, said Managing Director of Bluebird Care Brian Egan. “Alzheimer’s sufferers and their families go through a lot and we are very aware of the important work done by the Alzheimer’s Association and any efforts we can make to help our local office, we are glad to do”, added Mr Egan.
