Callan Golf Club is currently running a new special offer on membership, giving golfers an extra four months on top of an annual membership.
The offer is proving popular with both patrons who have been members of other clubs, as well as brand new members. However, due to demand for places, the offer will only be available for a limited timespan.
Callan Golf Club is well known in Kilkenny for its beautiful 18-hole parkland course and thriving social scene.
The verdant fairways and well-maintained greens are part of an absorbing golfing experience – the perfect way to spend four hours, or any afternoon.

The genial mix of competitive sport and the friendly social atmosphere contributes to an overall positive experience for its members. The club is also constantly hosting various events and competitions for its members, as well as open events for all comers.
The club’s upcoming golf classic, which takes place on September 15–18 is always a well-sponsored, and well-attended event, featuring a number of great prizes. It is one of the biggest events on the golfing calendar, and is open to anyone, with an entrance fee of €80 for a team of four.
As well as that, there are always the regular weekly competitions, including an RGA competition on Monday, ladies’ tournament (Tuesday ), open gentlemen’s (Wednesday ), a 55 Ladies competition on Thursday, and a 12-hole club mix on Fridays and Sundays.
There is currently an offer on annual membership of the club, with an additional four months. There is no joining fee on top of the membership cost.
