WH Good Ltd has been trading on Kilkenny’s High Street for almost 85 years and while none of the employees have been working in the business for that long, there are some staff members with impressive service records.
It was to celebrate this that Goods held a Service Award dinner in the Ormonde Hotel. With over 60 staff members in attendance and 12 awards handed out, the evening was a great chance to pay tribute to long standing staff members and mark their achievements.
One staff member has been with Goods for over 40 years - Anna O’Keeffe was presented with a Nicholas Mosse pottery set in recognition of her fantastic service record.
In the 30-40 year category there were three awards which went to Mary Massey, Kitty O’Halloran and Marie Delaney.
Other awards given out included two people in the 20-30 year category and 5 people in the 10-20 year category.
All the award winners were given Nicholas Mosse pottery which was presented to the winners by Vivian Good.
A special presentation was made to Anne Connolly for spearheading Good’s move into the world of social media through their facebook page.
