The Curves Kilkenny Food Drive in aid of St Vincent de Paul began at the beginning of April and Curves in Kilkenny has since received numerous food donations from the people of Kilkenny.
The Food Drive has concluded and staff and gym members are delighted with the positive outcome. Curves Kilkenny is located at Newman House, New Street, Co Kilkenny while the Society of St Vincent de Paul is a direct service, non-profit organisation whose work primarily involves person-to-person contact with people who have a variety of needs.
There are also many other Curves Fitness Centres that are located throughout Ireland that are also participating in the Curves Food Drive. All of these Curves Fitness Centres are donating their donations to a variety of different charities throughout Ireland in their areas.
“We’d like to thank the generous people of Kilkenny and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul for their support with the Food Drive,” said a spokesperson for Curves Kilkenny.
“Kilkenny Curves staff is enthusiastic for the revival of the Food Drive next year as they believe it is such a great cause and it positively promotes a sense of unity in the club,” she added.
