The Callan Co-op has been around for 112 years and prides itself on stocking everything people could need for their house or garden. Garden stock includes flower seeds, vegetables, early seed potatoes, mulches, field and potting composts, grow-bags, fertilisers — the list is endless. It also has everything needed to get the best from these items, with a wide range of gardening tools and equipment.
It also goes beyond the garden, with an extensive variety of household items for improving the home.
Electrical goods, kitchen and bathroom essentials, as well as a huge range of paints, both indoor and outdoor, are all on offer. Employing almost 30 staff, The Co-op also offers a Londis shop and petrol pumps. Animal feed is a speciality and the Co-op has its own feed mill for coarse ration manufacturing. Larger bags of horse feed are also available. The Co-op is currently running offers on; Ronseal 5 Litre Fenecelife — all colours for €8.50.
