Under 16 A hurlers
The U-16 "A" hurlers got their season off to a flying start with a comprehensive victory over O'Loughlin Gaels in the first round of the county league title race at the weekend. U-14 football league
The U-14 'B' team lined out against Gowran in their U-14 football league fixture at the weekend. Playing against the wind and rain in the first half they were under severe pressure and conceded a few goals which made the task of recovery very difficult. Nevertheless, they fought bravely and dominated for long periods of the second half but could not break down the solid Gowran defence and in the end were forced to concede defeat on the day. Their next outing will be on Saturday when they will hope to get back to winning ways against Danesfort.
