ESB Electric Ireland Feis Ceoil, Ireland’s biggest classical music festival, is set to showcase the talent of some 60 musicians from Kilkenny at the annual festival from April 4-15 inclusive.
The competition now boasts more than 190 individual classical music competitions including voice, piano, strings, wind, brass and orchestra, and some 4,000 competitors.
In addition to the prestige of winning at the ESB Electric Ireland Feis Ceoil, successful competitors will also enjoy €50,000 worth of prizes.
With a recession proof ticket price of €5 per day, anyone can visit the RDS, Dublin during the two weeks of the ESB Electric Ireland Feis Ceoil to enjoy a few relaxing hours of classical music performances.

Some of the most outstanding competitors from the 2011 ESB Electric Ireland Feis Ceoil will be showcased at a special gala concert in the Dublin Convention Centre on April 16 2011. The concert will feature The Celtic Tenors, and will be attended by the patron of Feis Ceoil Association, President of Ireland, Mary McAleese.
