The men’s captain Michael Healy and lady captain Margaret Furlong will kick off the Golfing Year with the Drive In on Sunday, February 27 in Castlecomer. There will be a shotgun start at 9.30 am and 1.30 pm on the day.
The Spring League Draw has been made for the ladies competition. The teams are as follows:
Team A: Kathleen Ryan, Una Whelan, Patricia Brennan, Marie Gannon. Noreen Kinsella.
Team B: Betty Byrne, Helen Dunne, Eileen Healy, Mary Brophy, Ita Madigan.
Team C: Breda Phelan, Ann Ring, Mary Dowling, Helen Murphy, Betty Owens.
Team D: Emma Walsh, Mary Corcoran, Margaret Conway, Jacinta Culleton, Margaret Furlong.
Team E: Joan Brennan, Joan Cullinane, Jean Jackman, Eileen Fogarty, Joan Coonan.
Team F: Honoria Fogarty, Delia O'Donoghue, Marjie Gannon, Mary Buggy, Patricia Doheny.
The first round will be played by the end of February.
