Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce is urging local business owners to get themselves “positively motivated” to take on the challenges of 2011.
The Chamber is hosting an early morning seminar on Wednesday January 12, to help people in business get their attitudes positively focussed for 2011.
The first Chamber event of 2011, the seminar entitled “If it’s to be, it’s up to me” will be focussed on the theme of getting businesses in Kilkenny “positively motivated”.
The Chamber has teamed up with John Gantley of local firm Gantley Business Development Specialists to deliver the event, which has been designed specifically for local business owners. “Our hands have been tied behind our backs for some time by fear. Fear about falling sales, access to credit, consumer confidence, the IMF, Budget 2011, the list goes on and on. We at least know now where we stand, we must realise that we can’t rely on anyone else, and that as business owners the buck stops with us to try to get ourselves out of this mess. My seminar “If it’s to be it’s up to me’ is all about getting local businesses to take responsibility for where they are and where they need and want to be. It’s designed to get 2011 off to a flying start and is guaranteed to help make 2011 the best business year yet for local business owners” said John Gantley, Gantley Business Development Specialists.

This seminar is our first this year and is part of a programme of positively themed events that will be hosted throughout the year. The “If it’s to be, it’s up to me” seminar will take place at 7.30am – 9am on Wednesday January 12, in the 11 Patrick Street Business Centre, Patrick Street, Kilkenny.
