Sean Byrnes Off-licence makes staying in the new going out

Nowadays more and more people are enjoying their weekend tipple at home. Gone are the days of paying a fortune for baby-sitters and taxis and braving the cold — the new going out is staying in.

To make that easier the newly-opened Sean Byrne’s Off Licence on James Green allows you to enjoy guilt free splurging on all the best wines and beers without the high price tag.

Husband and wife team Jennifer Quinn and Seamus Walsh decided to open the off licence beside their pub when they saw the niche in the market with the need for a good off licence. Sean Byrne’s Off Licence is ideally located just walking distance from the city centre, ample parking and more importantly family run.

Each week the off licence offers excellent deals. At present their offers include: 24 cans of Budweiser for €35. Six cans of Heineken for €10. Ten bottles of Coors Light for €12.99. 20 bottles of Bavaria for €17.99. Six cans of Carlsberg for €9 and 24 cans for €32..

Wine lovers will enjoy their popular St Giorgio Pinot Grigo (white ) or Merlot (red ) for as little as €8.99. There is also a weekly special on their world beers. As a sister to their La Ravista restaurant on Parliament St when you purchase a takeaway from the Italian restaurant you’ll receive 10 per cent off drinks at the off licence.

Sean Byrnes Off-Licence is open seven days a week. Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 10pm and on Sunday’s from 1pm until 10pm. The off-licence will be closed on Christmas day.
