Coach House celebrates a successful first year

The Coach House Bar and Restaurant in Thomastown recently celebrated its first anniversary of business in style.

On Sunday October 17, the Coach House hosted a fabulous evening to celebrate a great first year for husband and wife team, Steven and Helen Stafford. Providing entertainment on the evening were the popular 50s cover band ‘The Memphis Cats,’ who performed in front of invited guests and customers of the Coach House.

The Coach House is a traditional Irish pub, and with its comfortable surroundings and open fires there is a very cosy atmosphere for customers to enjoy.

The pub regularly plays host to live musical acts. Every Sunday evening traditional Irish music is played by a group of local musicians and anyone is welcome to join in. The Memphis Cats will be also be returning to perform in the pub this November.

The Coach House is also a great venue for hosting parties and functions. With the capacity to seat 50 to 60 people, the Coach House is the ideal venue for birthday, Christmas or New Year’s parties.

The proprietors of the Coach House, Steven and Helen, know how to deliver top quality service with over 15 years of experience in the bar and restaurant business.

Steven said, “My wife grew up not too far from Thomastown, so starting up a business here was like returning to her roots. Before we started here in the Coach House we ran a pub in England called the Old Coach House, so this is very much a fresh start for us!”
