Hatton Goldsmiths is owned and run by Tony and Will Nolan. The Nolan family originally moved from Skibbereen in Co Cork to England some 50 years ago where their father Bill Nolan owned a successful chain of jewellery shops throughout the UK.
Tony was educated at Rockwell College near Cashel in Co Tipperary and then returned to England to assist his father in growing the family business. Will Nolan is an award winning, fully qualified, jeweller trained in the renowned Birmingham jewellery manufacturing area.
Tony and Will have now opened Hatton Goldsmiths International, an Irish sister company to their UK operation where they currently run 27 shops.
They have received a warm welcome in Kilkenny on Rose Inn Street — an ideal location for the business.
The shop is open six days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm each day.
