If there’s anything in a name the people of Kilkenny will be licking their lips at the addition of Kilkenny’s newest café, Yum Café in the Danville Business Park.
Ideally located just off the city’s Ring Road, opposite the Watershed sports and leisure centre and just a couple of minutes drive from the city centre, Yum Café caters to people from all walks of life.
Launched earlier this week at the former Café des Amis in the Danville Business Park, Yum Café boasts a taste-filled menu including a wide range of sandwiches, ciabattas and bagels, all made with fresh ingredients.
They also have a selection of hot food on the menu, including homemade burgers, fish and chips, chicken curry, lasagna and chicken Caesar salad.
High priority in Yum Café is their superb coffee using the popular Italian Illy coffee, offering a normal roast or dark roast blend. They also have a wide selection of flavoured and specialty coffees as well as teas and specialty herbal and green teas from French tea house Dammann.
Yum Café currently have a special morning offer between 9am and 11am featuring a scone or muffin with coffee or tea for just €3.95, and an afternoon special involving a cake or dessert with tea or coffee for just €4.95.
They have a table service as well outdoor seating and you can make a booking or just walk-in and order. Yum Café also do a take-away service, making it the ideal choice to grab lunch on the run on those busy days. And there is plenty of free parking available.
Yum Café also does an outside catering service for offices, meetings, schools etc, and the café space is available for hire for any private event in the evening or on weekends, including parties, private meetings or communions.
