Kilkenny County Council’s Arts Office in partnership with Dingle Writing Courses Ltd. is offering a weekend writing course to one writer living in Kilkenny.
The aim of the Bursary is to assist and encourage both established and emerging literary practitioners in giving them an opportunity to work intensively on a writing course alongside others in a very unique environment.
The Dingle Writing Course Bursary will facilitate a participant’s professional development while furthering their knowledge and experience in dealing with other professionals involved in the literary world.
This year’s courses include ‘Starting to Write’ with Ted Deppe, ‘Poetry’ with Matthew Sweeney, ‘Fiction’ with Michael Harding and ‘Children’s Fiction’ with Kevin Crossley-Holland.
Closing date for receipt of completed applications is no later than 4pm on Friday July 2.
