From this September, Empower Colleges will be running a diploma in digital marketing in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Institute
This course has been developed by digital marketing professionals for existing and aspiring digital marketers. All of the lecturers are expert practitioners in their field. This course therefore provides attendees with a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and application of digital marketing. It introduces a range of innovative approaches that have been taken in applying these ideas to online marketing. Real life case studies and a practical approach provide a cornerstone to this course, ensuring that students both understand the theory and are in a position to apply this in their own business.
The course includes all aspects of current thinking and application of online and digital marketing, including; search engine optimisation, pay per click marketing, web 2.0 technologies, blogging, social media marketing (Facebook and Twitter ), affiliate marketing and email marketing. Upon completion of this course, students will have an understanding of the essential concepts required to develop a career in digital marketing
This course is ideal for those who are involved in marketing and wish to educate and professionally develop themselves further in the area of digital marketing. The diploma in digital marketing starts in Kilkenny on September 2, 2010. It is a five-day intensive course which takes place each Thursday from 9.30am to 5pm. Investment for this course is €1,495.
