This plait is making big waves and is easy enough to create. When you have made this plait it should look a bit like a rope. As with a traditional plait decide where you want the plait and gather the hair there. The next step is to divide your hair into four sections, instead of the normal three. To make it easier simply look at your hair sections from left to right as a, b, c, and d. Take section a and cross it over section b. Section c is crossed over the section, which is now in the place of b.
The remaining section is d, which goes under the section closest to it, which is in the place of c.
Continue in this way until you reach the end of the plait. It is important to remember that no section of hair crosses over or under more than one section at a time.
