I was putting up pictures the other day on my Facebook page and one of the girls commented on how my make-up always looks well and asked what foundation did I use. Well the thing is I don’t actually use a foundation. I’m not big on wearing much make-up and instead I try to keep it as minimal as possible. Instead I’ll apply my moisturiser and then over that I’ll apply Clarin’s Beauty Flash Balm. This balm is fantastic for giving your skin a dewy fresh look. If you don’t have Clarin’s Beauty Flash balm and don’t want to spend big money then a face highlighter mixed in with your moisturiser will give you a similar look. On top of this I’ll use a bronzer - at the moment I’m using Guerlain’s new Terracotta bronzing powder and I have to say it’s lovely. However, if you’re on a budget then Essence bronzing powder is another favourite and costs less than €10. With that it’s a coat of mascara and a dab of lip gloss and I’m good to go. During the summer months it’s best to keep your make-up light. However, if you suffer with spots and blemishes then use a dab of concealer. Avoid overloading your face with foundation as this will only add to the problem.
