Kilkenny Rugby Club’s under 13s finished the season on a high after completing the double with victory in the South-East League Cup followed by the Leinster Shield final within five days of each other.
Having lost only four of their 28 games this season, thanks to their hard work and commitment over the past eight months, the Kilkenny squad thoroughly deserved their victories.
What should have been a development season for the team proved to be far more successful than expected thanks to the combined commitment of the coaches, players, and parents involved, who travelled to the many games to take on the cream of both Leinster and Munster.
All the squad members will be presented with their medals at Kilkenny Rugby Club’s awards night in May. The team have extended their thanks to Tom Cantwell and TC Tyres for their continued sponsorship of the team.
