There is a fantastic treat in store for children aged five to 10 years old at at Féile an Fhómhair in Carlow this week.
Branar Educational Drama Productions from Galway will present "AILBI Agus A Cairde" in The Carlow Town Hurling Club on Saturday October 11. There will be two showings of the event at 1pm and at 3pm.
The drama is suitable for children with or without a knowledge of the Irish language.
The story tells the tale of Ailbi who finds herself all alone after a big storm until a flower begins to grow.
She believes that this means beauty has come back to her land and she names the flower Áillleacht or Beauty. However, when the flower disappears Ailbi sets out on a journey to find beauty.
