Cando Community Partnership, are hosting a Breakfast on Friday, October 10 from 10am – 12 noon.
Childline is Ireland’s only multi-media listening service for children providing daily round-the-clock support.
There are just over 1 million children in Ireland and Childline received nearly 740,000 calls, texts and emails for often critical advice and support in 2007 alone.
Because of lack of funding they can only answer 47 per cent of calls made to Childline, so please join Cando on Friday at the Assembly Rooms, 40 Dublin Street, Carlow, and help raise enough money so Childline can answer every call. For further information contact Cando on 059-9133457
