Kilkenny had a narrow victory over Mullingar in their friendly challenge match last Sunday.
Over 40 players of all grades participated and battled it out for three hours. But it was the hard work of players Tom Madigan, Michael Lannon, Ester Brandon and Lexie Trait that finally ground out the narrow victory for the Noresiders.
