A much-loved and well-known young man lost his battle for life last week.
Eighteen-year-old Kilkenny youth Liam Phelan of Deans Court in Kilkenny city died on Wednesday last week following a long illness.
Liam was the only child of Ann and Liam Phelan who are well known in Kilkenny.
Liam was a local publican and is known for his involvement in Paris Texas pub and The Boston Bar. He was running the business at Tynan’s on the Bridge.
Funeral Mass took place on Friday last at St Fiacre’s Church. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam.
