Kilkenny Musical Society is to host an Awards Party in DTs Bar, (The Pembroke Hotel ) on Patrick’s Street to mark the winning of three prestigious awards.
The event will take place tomorrow, Friday October 3.
The AIMS (Association of Musical Societies of Ireland ) Awards. Awards were won by three of the society’s acclaimed actors and singers.
Kevin Reade was nominated in the category of Best Comedian in his role as Will Parker in Oklahoma!, Roisin Egenton scooped the award for Best Comedienne as Ado Annie in Oklahoma! and Hannah Davin took home the “Mary Kelly Unsung Hero” Award. This was a very successful year for the society.
It is hoped that as many past and present members as possible will be able to attend the awards party.
Anyone interested in becoming a new member in the society are more than welcome to come along for what promises to be a most enjoyable evening.
