Eddie Rocket's is Ireland's most successful and only American-diner style eaterie. It's also Ireland's favourite gourmet hamburger joint, styled to the hip with vintage American dining booths, individual table jukeboxes, great food and a rockin' athmosphere.
And now the experience is available to the people of Kilkenny for the first time. Located at the MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, the new outlet which seats 100 people opened in mid-September and is already fast becoming a favourite resting stop for diners in need of tasty gourmet hamburgers, fries, malts, shakes and much more.
For those who haven't yet had a chance to pay a visit, the Diner's official launch will take place on Friday October 24 from 11am- 2pm with a number of promotions and fun events taking place throughout the day. Plus customers will get the chance to meet Eddie Rocket's cartoon Mascots 'Eddie Rocket' and 'Elektra Rocket.'
The new team of 25 local staff have been trained in typical Eddie Rocket's style to smile, have fun and offer customers a top-notch dining experience seven days a week.
All menu items are cooked-to-order by specially trained chefs, so you won't find any items pre-heated or pre-cooked before you arrive to eat.
Food ranges from a choice of eight gourmet hamburgers to salads, nachos and hotdogs to malts, shakes and a delicious Kids Menu plus vegetarian options. Food is fresh and made using Eddie Rocket's top-secret recipes and sauces for that authentic American-diner taste.

Commenting on the opening of the Kilkenny restaurant Jonathan Parkhill, Group Operations Director said that Kilkenny was the perfect location to expand the company.
"The new diner is already extremely busy but we're still able to offer our customers a fast, friendly and efficient service. We've been getting great feedback from customers who are delighted that Eddie Rocket's has finally come to town. There is really nothing like Eddie Rocket's in Kilkenny and we're very proud to be situated in this bustling and vibrant centre for many years to come," he added.
