U9 Freebooters v Ormonde Villa

On a beautiful sunny day Freebooters under 9 team, relieved to finally have a game after the recent poor weather, were really on form as they took on local rivals Ormonde Villa at Scanlon Park. It did not take too long for the home team to get going with a wonderful strike to the top corner from Conor Heary to open the score.

The home team were really playing some neat passing football and Owen Dowling scored after a lovely flowing move with man of the match Harry Jordan to push further ahead. It was a tighter game in the second half but the home team were very strong and the game ended with striker Divine Amaukwu scoring a hat trick.
