Under 13 League: Paulstown 06 7, Evergreen 'C' 1,
Many people have said that football is a funny old game and never has that been more accurate than it was last Saturday.
After a first half which flowed from end to end and was extremely competitive the second half was totally unexpected as Paulstown 06 scored six goals without reply from Evergreen. Early in the first half Paulstown took the lead after a great finish by Darragh O'Connor but Evergreen struck back quickly and it remained all square until half time. The second half was a complete shock to everyone. A couple of very quick goals by Paulstown knocked the confidence out of Evergreen and more goals quickly followed. It ended with a seven to one scoreline which seemed somewhat unfair to a brave Evergreen side. The scorers for Paulstown 06 were: Darragh O'Connor (2 ), Declan Galvin (2 ), Dylan O'Shea (2 ) and Billy Hanlon.
