The Kilkenny Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is holding a Voices for Animals concert at the Springhill Court Hotel, Waterford Road, Kilkenny on tonight Friday February 5.
Starting at 8pm this musical gig will feature a stellar line-up of musical acts. Playing on the night will be: Thukolo (Gospel Choir Kilkenny ), J P Ryan (local singer/songwriter ), Bobby Carey (Soul/RnB singer with a four-piece band ) Bob’s Your Uncle (Meteor nominated act ) and JAR (Acoustic Alternative ).
The KSPCA is delighted to have on board the Springhill Court Hotel, part of the Brennan Hotel Group, as the main sponsor of the concert.
Proceeds from the Voices for Animals concert will help to keep the vital animal welfare service operated by the KSPCA on the road.
Providing a voluntary animal welfare service in Co Kilkenny is expensive. Without regular on-going fund raising efforts, the KSPCA would not be in a position to provide a high level of animal welfare service to the animals and birds of Co Kilkenny.
As a voluntary animal welfare organisation solely depending on public donations to exist the KSPCA appeals to the people of Kilkenny to support this Voices for Animals concert. It will be a night to remember while supporting a good cause.
Kilkenny SPCA will also be making a donation to Haiti Animal Welfare in light of tragic events in that country.
Tickets for the Voices for Animals concert cost €10 and are available at the KSPCA office, Unit 39, Hebron Industrial Estate, Hebron Road, Co Kilkenny, during office hours. (t: 056-7771635/086-8172167 ) e: info@ kilkennyspca.ie, reception desk at the Springhill Court Hotel, and Ticketmaster.ie
