This Friday evening, the National Craft Gallery invites you for a glass of wine and an informal tour of the current exhibition, On the Edge.
On the Edge features a stunning selection of contemporary glass culptures from Ireland and the south-west of England. From the magical optical effects of Colin Reid’scast glass to the delicacy of Róisín de Buitlear’s ornately-etched hot blown glass, there is something for everybody here, and a great chance to be introduced to the work by an expert.
The tour will be led by internationally acclaimed artist Caroline Madden, who lectures in glass in NCAD, Dublin.
