Kilkenny people of all ages are getting ready to take place in GOAL’s annual GOAL Mile fundraising event this Christmas at Mullinavat and Thomastown.
Toddlers and teenagers will have the opportunity to join in on the fun and raise as much as possible for one of GOAL’s many life-saving event in the developing world.
This will be the 28th year of the event and has become an integral part of Christmas for thousands of people across the country. Last year, GOAL Miles took place in 72 locations nationwide and raised more than €370,000 for the poor.
This year’s Kilkenny GOAL Miles takes place at Mullinavat GAA Club on St Stephen’s Day at 11am and the church gates at the top of Market Street in Thomastown on Christmas Day at 12.15pm.
