The official opening of Rehab’s Regent House on William Street in Kilkenny is to take place on Wednesday December 23.
The opening will be hosted by RTÉ's Ryan Tubridy.
Regent House provides a variety of support services to people with disabilities, including a national learning network training centre and RehabCare resource centre and day service.
The Newgrove Housing Association supported living apartments at Regent House recently won an Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH ) Community Housing Award 2009 under the Category of Housing for People with Disabilities at the ICSH biennial conference this year. Residents in the apartments access support provided by RehabCare staff on an ongoing basis.
The official opening will take place at Regent House on Wednesday at 10.30am for invited guests.
