Katie Doyle returns with Club House Hotel gig

Katie Doyle will be playing at the Club House Hotel this Saturday November 24, from 10pm.

Katie has recently come back to live with her family in her father’s home town of New Ross, Co Wexford.

Katie’s new album Back to my Roots has been acclaimed and played frequently on South East Radio and she has also performed at the Dunbrody Festival and theatres throughout Wexford.

Over the relatively short period of the last eight months, she has become well known as an artist on the bar and hotel scene, where she has worked on billings alongside such locally renowned artists such as The Davitt Showband.

After completing her professional training as a singer and musician at the Royal Academy of Music, Katie Doyle worked as a professional singer for 14 years, before taking a break of 12 years from her career to raise her two children.

During her 14 year professional career Katie Doyle worked in a variety of West End musicals both in the chorus and later as an understudy. She then went on to do cabaret work and toured throughout Europe, before spending a further two years touring as a professional singer on the country rock circuit in America.

Now, after a break of 12 years, Katie Doyle has returned to singing and is also passing on her knowledge and know-how to future generations of would-be musicians. She has become a highly respected vocal training tutor as well as teaching both guitar and keyboard.

Check her out at the Club House Hotel this Saturday at 10pm.
