A KSPCA fundraising event is taking place this Friday at 8pm at the Ormonde Hotel.
The event will include a table quiz and an auction. Come as a party of six to take part in the table quiz.
The auction items include a hurl signed by the Kilkenny senior hurling team, Italian jewellery donated by Tiffany, a piece by Eclectic Interiors, pottery by Rosemarie Durr and Hilary Jenkinson, a hamper by the Good Earth, and a voucher for Frank Wall Man's Shop.
The Ormonde Hotel is supporting the event along with Dunnes. Anita Knott is providing cakes that will provide a celebratory note to the first sales of calendars, cards, and other lovely animal gifts.
The event will also mark the launch of the KSPCA calendar. It will be launched by Suzanna Crampton who did all the beautiful animal photography for the calendar. There will also be a DJ and bar and entrance fee is €10. All proceeds go to the Kilkenny SPCA. The event starts at 8pm.
