Kilkenny resident Julie Cusack is an up and coming artist and she opened an exhibition in Kilkenny last Friday in the Shanti School of Yoga and Gallery space.
The exhibition, entitled Mother’s Curse, incorporates yoga and art and whilst Julie had many successes in other parts of the country and world, this is her first solo exhibition in Kilkenny.
The event was well attended with key figures from the art community in attendance as well as many interested yoga teachers and students.
Many of the pieces have already been sold, which tells a lot about the talented artist in this economic climate.
The exhibition is open to the public until December 16, so there is plenty of time to pop in and take a look. The images vary in size and costs so there is something for all budgets and spaces.
