The staff of Castlecomer Discovery Park are now taking bookings for the exciting new Santa’s Grotto.
This year Santa will move to a new in-door grotto bringing Mrs Claus with him for the first time. Children will be treated to a full Santa experience complete with a present and a chance to take your own photographs. For those who loved the outdoor experience of the last two years, there will still be an opportunity to visit the reindeer in the park and follow the trail of fairies to the elves’ workshop in the lakeside cave. Santa will arrive on Saturday December 5, and will be there every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas and also on Friday November 11 and Friday 18.
Santa Tours will begin every 20 minutes from 11am to 5pm weekends and from 4pm to 6pm Fridays and each tour will last approximately one hour.
Tours cost €10 per child and €5 per adult. Children will receive a present from Santa and there will be complimentary tea, coffee or mulled wine for the adults.
Entry is by pre-booking only and tickets must be paid for in advance. Credit/Debit card payments can be taken over the phone or cash payments can be taken at the reception desk.
