Eye Style

A woman’s eyes have the power to allure and seduce as well as to dazzle and to smile and best of all they are the most natural and often best feature of her face.

Why not improve the natural effect the eyes can have by adding to their sparkle and really grabbing attention with some dramatic eye make-up.

Create a seductive look with long, thick-looking lashes. Generally, applying two coats of mascara will give enough definition to lashes. For the best results from your mascara make sure the wand is clean, using make up remover on the brush will get rid of the clumps of dry mascara and ensure you leave with defined lashes.

Adding eyeliner will also give definition, it is the magic wand for creating the illusion of bigger, more expressive, eyes! For the best results from your eyeliner, gently pull the corner of your eye outwards, forming a straight line. Start at the inside corner, working your way to the outside.

Using concealer around the eyes can get rid of the fine lines surrounding your eyes- however do not pile it on as this can highlight your lines, instead opt for the light kind such as Touche Éclat. Also using a white eyeliner will give the impression of larger, brighter, eyes, if you don’t want the obvious look of white eye liner pink will do the same.

Accessorise your eyes with a beautiful array of coloured powders, creams or glittering dust. This season metallic colours are in so keep an eye out for dazzling bronze, gold and silver colours.

Contrary to popular belief, dark, dramatic, eyeshadow will not make your eyes stand out but will actually do the opposite. Often the best way to go is to start with dark colours and but to lighten them with bright whites, silvers and beige. In saying that always take your eye colour and skin tone into consideration. For instance if you have grey/blue eyes and pinkish skin tone then warm colours will suit you- such as browns and dark greens.
