Painting, drawing, print and digital photography are just some of the many classes available at the Blackbird Art Lab this season.
Children and adults alike are creating all sorts of beautiful work from books to oil paintings.
The classes have become so popular that several new days have been added to the timetable. The most popular class is comic illustration and drawing for teenagers. The work produced has been good enough to capture the attention of the Manga museum in Japan which is sending an artist to do some workshops at the gallery.
Mums and dads can take a morning class and leave their children to be looked after in the gallery while they relax and get creative for a couple of hours and there is no extra charge for the service. If that wasn't enough, the children who attended last year have returned and are now producing work good enough to be shown in an exhibition that will be held in the Blackbird Gallery at Easter.
