Kilkenny County Council is about to begin work on a €150,000 project at Campion’s Cross on the Kilkenny-Freshford road, according to Councillor Catherine Connery.
Councillor Connery said the project will result in the provision of the long-awaited traffic filter lane which will be a major safety improvement for the local community and general traffic at this very busy junction.
