GBM Cityside Renault service and sales operations have been relocated back to Clonmel from its base in Kilkenny.
The decision to consolidate its operations is a voluntary one and purely based on the assessment of the new car and used car market both nationally and locally.
The conclusion confirms that a period of consolidation is required until such time as consumer confidence returns. Confirming the move owner George Mordaunt said, “we believe that this is a wise decision given the huge economic challenges that not only lie ahead but especially the challenges that continue to test the motor industry. Given the fact that our group has two Renault dealerships we believe that it is now more prudent to consolidate our daily services until we start to see some sort of positive industry change. Until then we feel that this decision is the correct long term decision. I would like to stress however that the decision is voluntary, independent and totally strategic based.”
All customers are invited to have their current new or used car warranty carried out in Clonmel. Full day to day operations will continue from Powerstown Clonmel. Management also point out that it’s very much “business as usual” and that the full 2010 Renault range remains available for test drive at GBM Renault Powerstown Clonmel. Call 052 6184949.
