This year’s Halloween is already being planned for you by the Castlecomer Discovery Park. Staff are playing host to a number of fantastic events for all the family.
From October 28 to November 1, enter, if you dare, the Halloween house of horrors where you had better prepare yourself for a few shocking scenes. Or for the faint hearted, maybe you’d prefer the Bubble and Speak where you learn about Halloween in the past. Admission for both tours is €5. Pre-booking is essential and bookings are now being taken.
On October 23 children, get your carving knives ready as you’ll be taking part in a turnip carving competition. Entrants must be under 13 years of age.
The trick or treat trail will run from October 24 until Sunday November 1. Like the two previous years, this promises to be great fun for all the family.
