Foroige is seeking volunteers to work with young people based at the new Drum youth cafe located at Macdonagh Junction Shopping Centre in the city.
The cafe which has just opened is looking to organise a series of programmes and youth club activities for the young people of Kilkenny but unless there are a certain number of volunteers involved the activities will not get off the ground.
Volunteers would be required to give a few hours of their time each week to oversee the centre as it can only remain open if there is an adult on the premises.
The positions would suit people who enjoy working with young people and organising events and activities. Volunteers will also be required to run the cafe.
