I’m hoping you can publish a request:
I am looking for ancestors of John Walsh and Bridget Giddings.
Their daughter Bridget Walsh, my great grandmother, came to Australia in the early 1870s. On her Australian marriage certificate to William Meehan (from Limerick ), it states she was from Kilkenny. We do not have any more information other than this.
I would love to hear from anyone who maybe has a Walsh/Giddings connection and I wonder what became of Bridget. There is a huge family of Meehan/Walsh descendants here in Australia!
