Dr Marcella Burns graduated from the University of Manchester in 2002. Having spent a number of years working in England as a general dentist and as an orthodontic clinical assistant, she returned home three years ago, not to her native Limerick but to Galway. She then met and married a Kilkenny man and moved to Kilkenny to work as an associate in The Springhill Clinic.
Following the retirement of Dr Malachy McEvoy in Abbeyleix, Dr Burns established her new dental practice in the premises of the old Credit Union on the Mountrath Road.
Private, PRSI, and medical card patients are all welcome to receive general dentistry in a relaxed, ultra modern clinic.
New features to the clinic include a state of the art dental chair with a built-in back massage unit.
Her special interests are providing a gentle approach to dentistry with an emphasis on prevention and cosmetic dentistry and whitening.
