Pull on your wellies and get out the tractor - the time has come and Ballyragget Vintage Club Day is just around the corner.
On Sunday September 27 the Ballyragget Annual Road Run will take place at 11am, and will be followed by a threshing, vintage display and working day.
The crowning of the Harvest Queen will take place in the evening. There will be music and entertainment for the family on the day, and all proceeds will go to local charities.
The charities to benefit from this year’s event include: Kilkenny Alzheimer’s Society, Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team, KASMHA, O’Gorman Home Ballyragget and Ballyragget Day Care Centre.
The committee is well on the road in their preparations, and despite the bad weather they have the oats cut for the event, using a 1928 Massey Harris Binder.
They look forward to seeing everybody on the day. All are welcome to take part in the road run, display or working day, or just go along for the craic.
