Marble City Cyclers are preparing for a fun-filled weekend of cycling in their annual venture Tour de Kilkenny which is taking place this the August Bank Holiday Saturday.
Cycling enthusiasts from all over the country are gathering in Kilkenny for the big tour which will see cyclists of all levels touring the beautiful routes of county Kilkenny.
There are three different challenges to choose from including the 160k route: This route brings cyclists though some of the most picturesque and historic parts of Kilkenny. The route will pass through famous locations like Inistioge and will provide panoramic views of the whole of Leinster while climbing out of Kilmanagh. The route is a beautiful rolling route with five drags for people who want to work up a sweat. A truly memorable cycle for those who want a real challenge and want to see the best of Kilkenny.
