The u-14 Camogie Roinn C County Final replay took place during the week in Grennan GAA grounds, Thomastown. The weather conditions were ideal and the match was highly entertaining, such was the skill and speed of the young players.
In spite of having one player sick and others away in Irish College, the Young Irelands team, many of them young in comparison to their counterparts on the James Stephens team, showed great heart and battled to the bitter end in an effort to claim victory for their club. However, James Stephens were worthy victors in the end.
