Kilkenny under 14 girls camogie team retained there Leinster title with a victory over Dublin by a score-line of 3-14 to 3-0 at Croabh Chairains grounds in Dublin on Sunday last. In the process they set a new record for Kilkenny, winning their 7th consecutive Leinster title at u-14 camogie.
The match was played in weather conditions usually seen in winter with teeming rain and strong wind facing both teams for the final but credit to the girls on both teams they served up a final worthy of the occasion with skill, fitness, passion and commitment being evident in both teams who fought to claim the Leinster title as the end result.
