Kilkenny ladies juvenile football is holding a blitz for under 12 and under 14 teams on this Saturday (July 11 ) at O’Loughlins GAA Club from 10am until 1pm. teams will be seven a side (panels of 10 ) and entry fee is just €20 per team.
The success of the primary schools football championship has highlighted the level of talent among Kilkenny girls when they turn their hand to ladies football, and last years blitz had 12 teams take part. With the emphasis on fun and learning the skills of the game anybody wishing to enter a team in the under 12 or under 14 section can contact Catriona Corr, development officer, on 086 1724044 or Noelle Curran on 087 6405403.
Any girl wishing to take part but who has no team in her locality can go along and join a team on the day.
