Burnchurch National School in Cuffesgrange, Co Kilkenny will receive an Award of Science Excellence today, Friday June 19.
As part of the presentation, they are to receive a special performance from James Soper’s Science Show for Schools. This action-packed performance contains juggling and the balancing of basketballs on an electric screwdriver to name but a few of his amazing tricks.
The show is being held for the students of Burnchurch National School in recognition of their participation in the Discover Primary Science programme.
Awards of Science Excellence are presented to schools across the country in recognition of the knowledge gained and explorations made through the Discover Primary Science programme during the course of the school year.
