Local girl Vicky Day has been announced as the winner of the second round of the Kilkenny 400 Busker 2009 competition which ran on Saturday, May 2.
Vicky will now get a €200 cash prize and goes forward to a place in the later rounds where there is a €1,000 cash prize to be won as part of the Kilkenny 400 celebrations.

Each fortnight buskers will take to the streets of Kilkenny to compete for a €200 cash prize and a place in the finals of Kilkenny 400 Busker 2009 which will take place in late September. Buskers are interviewed and videod on the day with their performances going to a public vote on www.busker2009.com Vicky Day joins Polish native Jacob Golaszewski in the winners circle where they will compete for a grand prize later in the year.
